Regular, punctual attendance is critical to a student’s academic success. As a result, the law requires that students attend regularly and that they be on time for classes. Persistent cases of absence or lateness will be referred to the Attendance Counsellor.

If your child is ill or unable to attend school, please call the school at 705.675.6451 or send a text message. The answering machine is on at all times, therefore calls can be made early in the morning or the night before. This way we can ensure the safety and whereabouts of our children, as per our Safe Arrival Policy.

Please note: the school must be notified immediately in case of “Communicable Diseases” such as chicken pox, mumps, measles, whooping cough, croup impetigo, pink eye, lice, etc.
